The following options are available to you:
Short-Term Loans: Cash disbursements against promissory notes, payable on a specific due date or through a debtor-defined payment plan.
Letters of Credit: Open and confirm your letters of credit without prior deposit of funds and with the option of financing for periods from 30 to 180 days.
What do I need to apply for a Credit Line in Dollars?
- Application Letter. *
- Your 3 most recent audited Financial Statements.
- Open a checking account in BPD (if your company does not yet have one).
- Post collateral.
* The letter must be signed by the applicant and should state: loan amount, loan term, description of proposed collateral, guarantor(s) (if any), repayment source and capital amortization plan.
Types of Guarantors and Prerequisites:
Solidary Guarantor
If the guarantor is a natural person:
- Photocopy of identification.
- Financial Statements notarized by a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
- Sign the Bank’s guaranty document.
If the guarantor is a company:
- Company by-laws.
- List of Shareholders.
- Minutes of incorporation.
- Minutes of election of the current board of directors.
- Letter requesting the facility.
- Audited Financial Statements.
- Open a checking account (if the company does not yet have one).
- Sign the Bank’s guaranty document.
MORTGAGE LOANS

What do I need to apply for a Mortgage Loan in Dollars?
- Submit the company by-laws, company brochure and current list of shareholders.
- Financial Statements for the last 2 years.
- Minutes of latest Shareholders’ or Executive Committee meeting.
- Condominium By-Laws (if applicable).
- Certificate of liens and attachments.
- Luxury Residence Tax (IVSS) payment receipt, or certificate of IVSS exemption.
- Minimum amount to be financed: US$ 30,000.00.
